​Physical Chemist with 23 years of startup and academic research experience in plasmonics, chemistry, biology, atomically precise manufacturing, and nanotechnology. Primary experience building and leading research teams to pursue the development of novel nanoscale fabrication processes and materials. Highly skilled in systems analysis, experimental design, and effective management of interdisciplinary R&D teams. Very successful in communicating complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Long term research goals focus on analysis and intervention in biochemical systems, with an emphasis on biomolecular mechanics.
